Stephany Greene graduated from New York’s Pratt Institute with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Fashion Design. While attending Pratt, she also studied Fashion Design as an exchange student at Parsons School of Design in Paris, France. After graduating from Pratt Institute, she apprenticed at Calvin Klein. Soon after, Tommy Hilfiger hired her as his Outerwear Designer, where her line garnered over $25 million in sales. She advanced again as Ralph Lauren’s Polo Jean’s Designer, and then Pro Player’s Design Director, where she conceived and launched Pro Player’s first branded line. She also re-designed the corporate identity logo, which created more than $13 million in advertising value when it was first introduced at Pro Player Stadium during the 1998 Super Bowl in Miami, Florida. Her success at Pro Player led The NFL and BET Television to hire her as Design Director of the BET Sports/NFL Collection, enabling the National Football League and BET TV to carve a new niche in a previously untapped market. Additionally, in 1999, her Alma Mater, Pratt University, established the ‘Stephany Greene Sportswear Award’, as an esteemed addition to its Annual Fashion Show.
