Wheatle Peart Youth Seminar
Wheatle Peart Youth Economic Development Business Seminar Initiative educates youth and young adults between the ages of 14 to 25 years old about entrepreneurship and economic development through the exploration of other cultures and economies. The initiative has touched over 1,800 youth and young adults in the United States and Jamaica. The seminar emphasizes the usage of "green technology" to bridge business resources globally by giving away a recycled and refurbished laptop at the end of the seminar.
The structure of the seminars teaches Entrepreneurial Skills, Cultural and Diversity Awareness, Communication Skills, Community Awareness, Technology Awareness, Government Regulations, and Global Business Awareness. The program promotes the development of social entrepreneurs and young CEOs that create micro businesses that are socially responsible and that are creating economic stability.
Mission
- Encourage career exploration and innovative thinking through teaching youth the art of entrepreneurship.
- Change the perception of other cultures and show how to embrace diversity along with the ideology of global citizenship.
- Develop the understanding of the global economy along with key concepts such as SWOT analysis, macroeconomics, and microeconomics.

- Demonstrate the importance of technology and show youth how to embrace it.
